90 days visa

Welcome to Ecuador!
If you come to Ecuador as a tourist or on a business trip, you do not need a visa for a stay up to 90 days on a 12 month-period (chronological year), unless you are a citizen (passport holder) from one of the following countries:
Afghanistan Bangladesh Eritrea Ethiopia Kenya Nepal Nigeria Pakistan Somalia
It is important to mention that the 90 days visa stops running when you leave the country.
Example:
Mr. Smith arrives in Ecuador the first time on May 13th 2015, he stayed in the country for 23 days and then he got out from Ecuador.
So, he has used 23 days of your 90 days visa (90-23=67).
Mr. Smith still have 67 days to visit the country again. If he comes back on June 31st, 2015 then the days start counting down again.
After May 13th 2016, a new period of a 90 days visa will start, so Mr. Smith can used a completely new tourist visa of 90 days.
