Marriage between non-resident aliens in Ecuador

If you're in Ecuador and you do not have a cedula, do not worry you still can get married by presenting the following requirements:

- Must be adults - Two Witnesses with cedulas - Marital Status Certificate (It can be gotten at the Consulate of your country in Ecuador) - Passports with current visa (Any kind of visa is valid except T3 visa)

- Translator for the celebration - Government Fee: $50 at the Civil Registration Office / $250 if the marriage takes place out of the Civil Registration offices.

Marriages between foreign people must be celebrated by the officers from the Civil Registration Offices in Quito, Guayaquil or Cuenca.
